Trip to Ciénaga la Caimanera: A Paddle Boarding Adventure

Introduction

We went to Ciénaga la Caimanera with Suplovers.co and Juancho Uribe to paddle on SUP boards. We enjoyed an experience full of exercise and nature. From the very beginning, the landscape captivated us with its canals surrounded by lush vegetation, where flora blends with the reflection of the water and wildlife appears in every corner. It was a journey that combined sports, adventure, and tranquility, making it a truly special moment.

The Journey

During the trip, which lasted approximately two and a half hours, we paddled from the bridge of the swamp towards its interior, crossing canals that looked like a green tunnel. There we were able to observe different species such as:

• raccoons,
• crabs,
• oysters
• and many more that are part of this ecosystem.

Every stroke brought us closer to the natural richness of the place, giving us a unique experience of connection with biodiversity.

The Return

In the end, the return was as exciting as the way in, always accompanied by the magical atmosphere of the swamp.
